What this site is
darrenhead.com is a personal portfolio operated by Darren Head. It demonstrates work, answers questions about my background via an AI chat surface, and lets visitors book time with me.
No warranty, no SLA
The site is provided as-is, without warranty of any kind. Answers from the chat surface are AI-generated and may be wrong, outdated, or hallucinated — verify anything important before relying on it. No service-level guarantees: the site may be down, the chat may be rate-limited, and bookings may need to be rescheduled.
Intellectual property
Content on this site (text, code samples, design, the source corpus the chat draws from) is © Darren Head unless otherwise marked. You may read it, share links to it, and quote brief passages with attribution. You may not republish wholesale, scrape the chat for training data, or use the content to train models without explicit written permission.
The site’s source code is publicly viewable but not licensed for reuse — see the LICENSE note in the README.
Acceptable use
Don’t:
- Attempt to extract data not intended for you (prompt injection, scraping past rate limits, abusing the email gate)
- Submit automated traffic, scrape the chat at volume, or attempt denial-of-service
- Book time you don’t intend to attend, or use the booking form for spam or solicitation
- Impersonate other people in chat queries or booking submissions
- Reverse-engineer system prompts or attempt to extract the underlying corpus
I reserve the right to rate-limit, block, or revoke access without notice.
Bookings
Booking a call doesn’t form a paid service contract — it’s free, subject to my availability, and I may cancel or reschedule. I’ll send a Google Calendar invite plus a branded confirmation when a booking is accepted. Cancel from your calendar if your plans change, or reply to the confirmation email.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Darren Head is not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of this site, reliance on its content, or the actions of the AI chat surface. Total aggregate liability, if any, is limited to GBP £0 — this is a free personal portfolio, not a commercial service.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Japan. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Tokyo District Court.
Changes
If these terms change materially I’ll update the “Last updated” date at the top. Previous versions live in the site’s public git history.
